Betadine Throat Spray is your essential antiseptic solution for fast, soothing relief from throat infections in adults and children aged 6 and above. This oromucosal spray contains Povidone-Iodine 0.45% w/v, which rapidly kills a broad spectrum of germs, including viruses, bacteria, and fungi, on contact. It treats acute infections like pharyngitis, tonsillitis, colds, and influenza, while relieving throat pain, swelling, and thrush. The 50ml, pale-brown solution is sugar-free and has a distinctive sweet taste.
For convenient use, the dosage for ages 6 and up is one spray to the back of the throat every 3-4 hours, up to 3 times daily for a maximum of 7 days. It is for oromucosal use only; please spit out any excess liquid. Consult a doctor before use if pregnant, breastfeeding, or if the child is under 6 years of age.
